Making Women Disciples of Jesus in our Community and Beyond!
Our Women’s ministry is starting up.
We want to see women coming together in the Holy Spirit to learn to focus on, listen to, and worship Jesus, who is the better portion, and in so doing to be transformed by him into the women he wants us to be. (Luke 10:38-42)
Starting up this fall.

Levi’s Table
Mark 2:13-17
We are not meant to fight the good fight alone!
We want to offer a place for men to drop our figurative masks, be real with each other, grow in our faith together, call each other out, and grow in deep meaningful friendship and brotherhood.

CaRe
As part of our overall mission to love others in the name of Jesus Christ, the KPCC Board has approved partnering with CaRe (Castlegar Refugee Project) for the wonderful opportunity to help bring in a Christian refugee family to Castlegar. Efforts are being made to bring in a family from Myanmar who have lived for ten years as asylum seekers in Malaysia. They are related to the family brought in 2016, now living in Regina. The CaRe volunteer group will eventually arrange housing and support the family in their daily integration into Canadian life.
KPCC will operate as the Charitable organization that will issue tax receipts for donations to this cause. Those who wish to contribute to this cause can check the KPCC Newsletter, which will indicate the different methods in which donations can be made.
Vision
VISION
Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.
Proverbs 29:18
Kinnaird Park Community Church’s (KP) vision is drawn form Jesus’ final words in Matthew 28:18-20 to make disciples of all peoples, and it goes like this:
We exist to make disciples of Jesus in our community and beyond.
But what is a disciple?
We define a disciple is someone who has, by grace through faith, come to exclusively trust in Christ for salvation, is learning to submit to Jesus’ loving lordship in every area of their lives, and is graciously helping others to do the same.
This is who we are and this what we do.
Furthermore, we fulfill our vision through three key practices.
- Heralding the gospel—central is rehearsing who Jesus is, what he has done for us, and what that means for us. We primarily herald the gospel in Sunday Worship.
- Applying the gospel—the church is shaped to build the gospel into our lives. We currently seek to do this through Shepherd’s Corner (kids), Junior Youth, Levi’s Table (men), Titus 2 Women, and Community Groups.
- Spreading the gospel—heralding and applying the gospel prepares us to share the gospel. We encourage one another to let the gospel spread individually in our own lives, our marriages, our families, our various relationships, and through our small group and corporate efforts and projects to serve our community.
Please contact us for more information on our vision plan and goals.
